The Refectory offers cafeteria service and a wide choice from a varied menu at each meal time. Menus run on a three-weekly basis.

The School catering department provides for the students, staff and monastic community. It also provides speciality catering for the numerous social events in the calendar.

Every day our chefs serve up a varied choice of healthy, tasty, well-balanced meals using red tractor meat and sustainable fish while including lots of vegetable and fruit options.

In the summer of 2019 a refurbishment of the refectory took place including new furnishings, new crockery and cutlery, a new and more efficient approach to servery and a fabulous new menu. Windows were replaced and the heating upgraded, there is now stylish lighting and seating, a new floor and a specially commissioned mural which is an eye-catching addition to a wonderfully revamped area. Designers set out to create an experience that is bright, welcoming and one that encourages positive social interaction.

The Pitstop is used as a Sixth Form café and is open all day, every day apart from lunch and supper times, offering a place to work and relax.

Years 7 and 8 have their own lunch venue, separate from the older children, giving them a smoother integration into the School, with catering staff preparing them meals more suited to the children's age as well as making sure they get a well-balanced meal, eating the right food.
