Faith and Community
St Benedict wrote in his Rule, "We mean to establish a school for the Lord's service", and his wisdom inspires our community in all that we do.
At Worth our Catholic faith, combined with our Benedictine tradition, helps us to realise that by nurturing the potential of each individual within a sharing and supportive community, pupils are able to discern their God given gifts and grow in self-confidence, independence and compassion.
Our Benedictine character fosters the realisation that our faith must be alive and visible in the way we live day by day, and that our moral, spiritual and intellectual growth is centred on our relationship with God as well as our relationships with one another.
The monks and staff of Worth School share in the development of our pupils by stretching and challenging their abilities, intellect and understanding and by providing the opportunities to live a life of worship, service and prayer.
We are a Catholic school but we also respect the beliefs of other Christian traditions and welcome pupils from different backgrounds.
