Visiting Worth
Our prospectus will provide you with some information, but it is important for you to see Worth for yourself. There is no better way of finding out about a school, its environment and atmosphere, than visiting with your son or daughter.
There are lots of opportunities to see Worth and we strongly recommend that you attend one of our Open Events to help you in the early stages of your decision-making process. In addition to Open Days, there are several other ways to find out about the school.
Open Events
A visit will allow you to experience the school in action on a typical day, with the opportunity to meet staff on a one-to-one basis, to meet our students and to see the campus. Our Open Days are designed to give you a better insight into life at Worth, enabling you to get a feel for the strong community atmosphere and for how the school lives out the Benedictine ethos.
Open Days in 2013
- Saturday 9th February 2013
- Saturday 2nd March 2013
- Saturday 27th April 2013
- Saturday 21st September 2013
- Saturday 5th October 2013
- Saturday 9th November 2013
In addition, a Sixth Form Options Evening is held each October (Wednesday 16th October 2013). This enables you to find out more about our International Baccalaureate and A Level programmes, discover more about the Sixth Form wider curriculum and meet staff and students on a one-to-one basis.
Individual Visits
If you are unable to attend one of our Open Events, we can arrange for an individual visit to meet the Head Master. You will also be taken on a campus tour by one of our Sixth Form students.
Attend an Event
Worth has an excellent reputation for the performing arts. Drama and musical performances occur regularly in the Abbey Church and the Performing Arts Centre and the majority of events are open to the public. Alternatively, you are very welcome to come and watch a sports match. Please see the Diary of Events for forthcoming events.
