Community at Worth

Boys with Fr Peter Worth is an exciting and dynamic school with a strong community feel. The community consists of pupils, parents, staff, governors and members of the Benedictine monastic order.

Pupils attending the school come from a wide variety of backgrounds. About one third live locally and attend as day pupils. The majority are boarders, and whilst most come from UK-based families, a proportion come from overseas, their families living in Europe or beyond. As a result, the school retains its essential Englishness whilst enjoying a healthily cosmopolitan feel.

While the school's culture is traditionally Catholic, we welcome students from a diversity of Christian backgrounds, with the result that all pupils within the school are able to benefit from growing up within a community of secure yet tolerant faith.

All of this, combined with excellent teaching and a reputation for outstanding pastoral care, means that Worth is able to provide the perfect environment in which its pupils are fostered, challenged, stimulated and encouraged to develop as strong, responsible, caring young people ready to face the challenges of modern life.
