Admissions and Registration
Choosing a schoolSelecting a school can be a difficult process and it is important that you choose the school that will best suit your child and your family circumstances. This part of the website provides information to help you with your research and to guide you through the various steps in the admissions process at Worth School.
Worth caters for boys between the ages of 11 to 18 and there are currently 450 students at the school. In 2008, we will welcome girls into the sixth form and from 2010 girls will be able to join other years. By 2012, girls will be an integral part of every year group. Pupils normally join Worth at age 11, age 13 or at age 16 for entry into the sixth form. Around two thirds of pupils are boarders, with a third being day pupils.
Every school has a slightly different admissions process. At Worth, we recommend that you start your research no less than 2 years prior to the proposed enrolment date. See The Entry Process for further details.
"It's a lot more homely than I thought it would be. It feels less like a public school and more like a home." Ed Hall-Smith, Year 10 student
